It's time to start an adventure!

Here are a few of the places I have enjoyed visiting.

Real Texas

Texas has it’s own brand of beauty. If you leave the bustling metropolis areas, you will find yourself in great open spaces. Undulating farmland spreads of green grass dotted with grazing cattle. In spring, carpets of bluebonnet attract many a visitor for the perfect photograph.

Ship Island

The secret is slowly getting out, but this lovely place is a great getaway to totally unwind. From the pier in Gulfport, MS, a ferry takes you to Ship Island. It’s under an hour to get there, and on the ride you could also sight dolphin! The best part is the actual island itself. The only people on the beach are the ones who arrive by the ferry. Believe me, I’ve been there on more than one occasion – in summer – and there’s plenty of quiet beach for everyone.

New Orleans

This city has a southern charm of it’s own! You’ve heard of the crawfish and all that jazz. Ahem! But I invite you to take a few backstreets and seek out the hidden charms here. A leisurely ride down to the Garden District will surprise you with the views of awesome architecture and some great quiet spaces.

Lake Tahoe

Lake Tahoe, CO is a beautiful place. Visit in summer or winter and it won’t disappoint. In the summer you can enjoy some great hiking, picnicking, and wonderful scenic drives through majestic pine tree covered mountains. In the winter, there’s many a great slope for all you ski lovers, and for those who prefer less strenuous activity, you can still drive or trek out to some great spots for grand views.

Alaska

What more can be said about this beautiful place? This is a gem indeed and I have enjoyed repeated visits here. I never tire of the wildness, the stark beauty, the power of nature that can be felt in this age old place. Check out my Youtube channel for some awesome videos.

Cozumel

The first thing that struck me about this beautiful place is the vibrant blue of the waters! The west side of the island is the more populated and developed side. Here’s where cruise ships dock and the action tales place. There are several great beaches and plenty of places to kick back, relax and enjoy the local cuisine! While the east side is also accessible via road, it generally has choppier water. Although there are a few great quiet and less crowded places here with some awesome sandy beaches!

Honduras

Some great waters here! Roatan Bay is perfect for chilling out and doing a bit of snorkeling. I was mesmerized by  the lovely blue-green of the clean waters here! Also,if you get a chance, take a trip out to the Maya Key Resort. On this wonderful private island you can swim ‘n snorkel, check out their great collection of rescued wildlife, or simply lounge under the palms with a cool drink!
